| ARCTIC SPAS
PEAK OZONE SYSTEM |
Ozone
is perhaps natures most powerful purifier. It is
widely used to purify drinking water because it is pH
neutral, chelates metals and destroys pathogens and other
organic contaminants quickly and with no residual chemicals
remaining in the water. Despite ozones (O3) great
potency, nearly all systems on spas utilize designs that
fail to address the three critical components needed for
successful water purification.
These components are:
|
| 1)
|
Concentration
of Ozone |
|
|
You
must produce enough ozone at high concentration
to purify and you must do so year after year without
significant change in ozone output. (All UV systems
degenerate output significantly after just 100 hours
of use!) |
|
2) |
Contact
Time |
| |
The
Ozone must come in contact with the contaminants
and have time to react. |
|
3) |
Off-Gas
Destruction |
| |
Any
ozone that has not reacted must be converted back
to oxygen to prevent unwanted oxidation. |
